Middle School: Grades 6–8

Middle schoolers work in teams of teachers who share the same students. Every student has an advisor who meets with a group of 10 students each morning.

Program

• English, math, science, history and Spanish or French every day
• Electives: robotics, theater, band, orchestra, choir, studio art, coding
• Middle School athletics teams (no cuts) in fall, winter and spring

Trips

Grade 6 goes to Camp Lakeview for three days in September. Grade 7 spends five days canoeing in the Boundary Waters in late August. Grade 8 visits the Minnesota State Capitol in the spring.

Homework

About 60 to 90 minutes a night. No homework is assigned over Thanksgiving, winter or spring break.
