Heron Athletics
The Brightwater Herons compete in the Lakes Valley Conference. About 70% of Middle and Upper School students play at least one sport. Middle School teams (Grades 6–8) have no cuts.

Practices and the late bus
Practices run 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM on weekdays. A late bus leaves at 5:45 PM Monday through Thursday on Routes 1, 3 and 5.
Home fields
Soccer plays at Brightwater Field, baseball and softball at Brightwater Diamond, and basketball and volleyball in the Ferris Gym. Admission to home games is free.
Forms
Every athlete needs a sports physical on file (valid for three years) and a signed concussion form before the first practice. Send forms to the school nurse.
