Reporting an absence

If your child will be absent or late, call the attendance line at (612) 555-0150 or email attendance@brightwateracademy.example by 8:30 AM. Please give your child's name, grade and the reason.

Tardiness

Students who arrive after the start of school sign in at the main office. Three unexcused tardies in a quarter lead to a meeting with the division head.

Planned absences

For a family trip or other planned absence, fill out the Planned Absence Form at least two weeks ahead. Students are responsible for missed work.

Leaving early

A parent or guardian must sign the student out at the main office. Upper School students with a parent's note may sign themselves out.
